Refund Policy
To cancel or withdraw, send written notice to support@realestateschool.org. Include your name and the course you wish to cancel. An order number helps if you have it. For help, call (425) 775-2313.
Full refund
You receive a full refund of what you paid for the course if either of these is true: (1) you cancel within 30 days of enrollment and have completed 10% or less of the course, or (2) you cancel within 5 business days of enrollment, whatever your progress. Opening or viewing lessons does not lose this right.
Education waiver notice
If you may qualify for an education waiver from the Utah Division of Real Estate, you must obtain it before you enroll. A student accepted or enrolled for education hours cannot later reduce those hours by applying for an education waiver. The full notice appears in our Utah Terms of Use and on the Utah enrollment page. You can cancel for a full refund during the periods above.
Enrollment date
Your enrollment date is the day your payment is received and you are given access to the course.
Refund through 50% completion
If neither full-refund case applies, and you withdraw or we end your enrollment after you have completed no more than 50% of the course, we refund what you paid beyond earned tuition. Earned tuition is the course tuition multiplied by the portion you completed. We measure the portion as completed lessons divided by total lessons in the course. At exactly 50% we still use the pro-rata calculation.
After 50% completion
Once you have completed more than 50% of the course, the full tuition is owed and no tuition refund is due, except under the hardship and school default section below and any other rights the law gives you.
Gift purchases
If you bought a course or package as a gift and it has not been redeemed, you can cancel within 30 days of purchase for a full refund to your original payment method. Once the person you gave it to redeems it, their enrollment follows the sections above, and any refund goes to the original payment method of the purchase. To cancel a gift, send written notice as described at the top of this page.
Hardship and school default
If a disabling illness or accident, a death in your immediate family, or another cause beyond your control makes you leave, we will work out a prorated tuition settlement that is fair to you and to us. If we discontinue or cancel a course, or close before delivering it, we refund all tuition and fees you paid for it.
Refund timing and payment
We return approved refunds to the original payment method within 30 days of receiving your cancellation. If someone else paid for your enrollment, we may send the refund to that payer.
Nothing in this policy limits a refund or remedy required by law.
