This class covers non-judicial foreclosures, auctions, bankruptcy, and REO properties. Topics discussed include the foreclosure process and timeline, possible defenses to foreclosure, foreclosure schemes, different types of bankruptcy, and how a credit report is affected. It also features video of a live foreclosure auction.

   Instructor

Instructor Kara Deyerin is a licensed Tax Attorney and Mortgage Broker. Kara's courses are professional and informative and range from a licensing cram course for Mortgage Brokers to continuing education courses. She has a B.A. in Economics, an M.A. in Trade and Investment Policy, and a J.D. all from George Washington University. She also has a L.L.M. in Tax Law from the University of Washington Law School.
