Summary of Washington Continuing Education Requirements |
The State of Washington is currently in the process of implementing new laws which will change the courses agents and broker's must take. These changes will take effect on July 1, 2010. Current clock hour requirements remain in place for those with renewal dates prior to July 1, 2010. Any licensee with a renewal date that falls on July 1, 2010 or later will be subject to the new laws. Current Clock Hour Requirements: Each broker and agent must complete 30 clock hours including a 3 hour CORE class every two years. Licensees with renewal dates on or after July 1, 2010: In addition to the 3 hour CORE class, all licensees will need to take a 3 hour Transition course as part of their renewal. Licensees will still be required to complete 30 clock hours every two years. |
